| Biology: | Oceanic, mesopelagic (Ref. 4066), epipelagic to bathypelagic (Ref. 58426). Found between 500-1,000 m during the day; between 60-175 m (juveniles) and deeper than 250 m (adults) at night (Ref. 4479). Feeds on crustaceans (Ref. 58426). | |||
