Max. size:  5.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 5.80000019073486 - 7.19999980926514, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: basins of the upper OgoouĂ©, upper Niari, upper Louesse, Loeme, upper Kouilou and Foulakari (lower Congo River tributary) in southeastern Gabon and central and western Republic of Congo (Ref. 59344).
Biology:  Occurs in small forest brooks and rivers, usually moderate to fast-flowing bodies of water under forest cover (Ref. 59344). Not a seasonal killifish. Is very difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
