Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Goa, south Canara through Travancore hills to Nagercoil and Nilgiris, Cauvery drainage in Western Ghats, India.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in hill streams (Ref. 41236).
