Family:  Cetomimidae (Flabby whalefishes)
Max. size:  23.2 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; marine; depth range 0 - 1400 m
Distribution:  Southern Ocean: known only from the Lazarev Sea, Antarctica.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found at depths ranging from the surface up to 1,360 m. At the collection site in the Lazarev Sea, specimens were caught from 1,370-1,400 m. Biology unknown.
IUCN Red List Status: Data deficient (DD); Date assessed: 11 October 2018 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
