Family:  Sisoridae (Sisorid catfishes), subfamily: Sisorinae
Max. size:  14.4 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Mekong basin (Ref. 12693); also from Malaysia and Borneo.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occur in upland and montane brooks as well as small streams (Ref. 12693). Found in running waters of lower Mekong (Ref. 36667). Feeds mainly on aquatic insect larvae. Not seen in markets (Ref. 12693).
