Max. size:  12 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine
Distribution:  Western Central Pacific: known only from western Java, Indonesia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 11-12. Distinguished by having a body depth 3..2 or more in SL; six pectoral filaments, some extending well past midpoint of anal fin; interorbital region of frontals not markedly concave.
Biology:  Rare species (Ref. 57343).
