Max. size:  2.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine
Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean: South and Western Australia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 7-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-9; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 8-8. Remarks: pectoral fins large, diamond shaped; caudal fin rounded.
Biology:  Inhabits rocky and coral reefs.
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 29 June 2018 Ref. (130435)
