Family:  Nothobranchiidae (African rivulines)
Max. size:  7 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: southwestern Sierra Leone to southwestern Liberia. Also reported from Guinea (Ref. 13331).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in swampy areas and small rivers on the coastal plains (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish. Is very difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 22 April 2020 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
