Max. size:  60 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: East Africa to Society Islands, north to southern Japan.
Diagnosis:  Vertebrae: 152-162. Only worm eel in the region with pectoral fins (Ref. 37816).
Biology:
