Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 304 - 520 m
Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean: off north-western Australia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits upper continental slope (Ref. 114953). Length of adolescent males between 38.0-50.6 cm TL, smallest juvenile 13.8 cm TL (Ref. 75649).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 25 April 2015 Ref. (124695)
Threat to humans:  harmless
