Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 17-20; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 23-27; Vertebrae: 28-29. Dorsal head profile of adult male strongly concave; lateral body stripes of male black; bright blue zone along the posterior margin of caudal fin of male; dark spots on the entire caudal fin of male; pectoral fin length of male 19.6-23.4% SL; longitudinal rows of spots on body of male light blue; pelvic fin length 6.3-7.2% SL in male and 6.4-7.4 in female; dark brown irregular marks on dorsum below dorsal fin of male; 15-17 supraorbital neuromasts and 1-3 neuromasts per scale of the lateral line (Ref. 42931).
