Max. size:  10.4 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Turkey.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 3-3; Dorsal soft rays (total): 7-7; Anal spines: 2-3; Anal soft rays: 5-5. High and compressed body, with four Gambetta's pigmentary zones. Jet black caudal spot rounded and rather small. Mental lobes well prominent but not large (Ref. 41095).
Biology:  Oviparous, possibly with distinct pairing during breeding similar to congeners (Ref. 205).
