Max. size:  7.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: Congo River basin, from the lower Congo near its estuary (Ref. 79650, 114247) up to the upper Lualaba (Ref. 45434), in Democratic Republic of the Congo. Also reported from the Rusizi in Burundi (Ref. 98755).
