Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: India and Nepal.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occur in rapid rivers and streams (Ref. 41236). Live in hill streams (Ref. 4833). Oviparous, eggs are unguarded (Ref. 205).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 13 October 2009 Ref. (124695)
