Distribution:  Eastern Atlantic: France to Portugal and the Ligurian Sea in the Mediterranean.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  A locally abundant species that feeds on polychaetes and benthic crustaceans (Ref. 34024). Viviparous (Ref. 4758).
