Max. size:  7.983 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  pelagic; freshwater; pH range: 7 - 7; depth range 0 - 1 m
Distribution:  South America: Patía and Mira River basins.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 10-13; Anal soft rays: 27-37; Vertebrae: 33-36. Body depth 30.2 to 37.26 % of SL; a dark peduncular spot that extends over median rays of the caudal fin; only 3 teeth on the maxilla (Ref. 40518).
