Max. size:  7 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  pelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: Cubango, Cunene, Okavango (Ref. 42019) and Cuanza (Ref. 42019, 120641). Also known from the LuembĂ© (Kasai tributary, middle Congo River basin) in Angola (Ref. 42019). Reports from the Luapula and its tributaries need confirmation; reports from Eala (Ruki drainage, middle Congo River basin) and the Lulua River (Kasai drainage) are B. imberi (Ref. 42019).
