Max. size:  2.5 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 5 - 6; dH range: 5 - 12
Distribution:  Asia: Malay Peninsula to Sumatra, Indonesia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits quiet forest streams with slow-flowing acidic water (Ref. 85309). Feeds on worms and small crustaceans (Ref. 7020). One of the world's smallest cyprinid species.
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 24 December 2018 Ref. (130435)
