Environment:  bathypelagic; marine; depth range 1000 - 2060 m
Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: south of Madagascar and off Mozambique Ridge. Eastern Indian Ocean: Western Australia (Ref. 49596). Northwest Atlantic (Ref. 2711). Western Central Pacific (Ref. 38717).
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 14-17; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 15-17
Biology:  Found on the continental slope (Ref. 75154).
