Max. size:  26 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 1055 - 2835 m
Distribution:  South Atlantic: off Cape Point, South Africa and off southern Brazil.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 14-16; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 9-10. Body greenish to brownish in color (Ref. 5320).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 11 October 2018 Ref. (130435)
