Inhabits a moderately fast flowing stream with substrate consisting of mud, sand, sand with gravel or bedrock. Adults were collected in zones with little current, 0.5-1 m deep, and rocky or sandy bottom. However, juveniles often occur in zones 0.2-0.3m deep, with sandy bottom and macrophytes. |
