Environment:  demersal; marine
Distribution:  Southeast Atlantic: Angola to Namibia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 10-10; Dorsal soft rays (total): 27-28; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 9-9; Vertebrae: 24-24. This species is distinguished by the following characters: D X, 27-28 (28); pored lateral line pored scales, 71-74 (73); pectoral fin length 18.0-19.5% of SL; caudal fin emarginate (Ref. 116590).
