Presence of scales on all areas of the head (except nasal area and a very narrow stripe on angle of preopercle in specimens larger than 5 cm SL); absence of a membrane connecting the dorsal, anal and caudal fins; two pelvic fins juxtaposed, enclosed by a single dermal envelope and positioned on the medial ventral line of the body (Ref. 49504). |
