Family:  Nothobranchiidae (African rivulines)
Max. size:  3.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: Known only from its type locality, the Ivindo drainage system in northern Gabon.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in small, mostly swampy brooks in the rainforest (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish. Is very difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
