Distribution:  Western Atlantic: Bermuda, Florida Keys, Gulf of Mexico; Bahamas, Greater Antilles (including Cuba, Hispanola, Puerto Rico, Jamaica and Cayman Is.), Virgin Is, Lesser Antilles, Western Caribbean, northern South America (region north of Amazon River mouth including Trinidad and Tobago and islands off coasts of Venezuela and Colombia) and southern South America (region south of the Amazon River mouth).
