Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range - 0 m, non-migratory
Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: Hokkaido to Kyushu of Japan, Bohai Sea, Yellow Sea and East and South China Sea.
Biology:  Inhabits muddy bottoms along the shores of bays. Caught for food.
