Max. size:  28 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; brackish; marine; depth range 13 - 46 m
Distribution:  Eastern Central Pacific: Gulf of California to Ecuador.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits coastal waters and penetrates estuaries (Ref. 9047). Feeds on small crustaceans and polychaetes (Ref. 9047).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 29 April 2008 Ref. (124695)
Threat to humans:  harmless
