Distribution:  Asia: Laos and northern Viet Nam.
Diagnosis:  Long maxillary barbels, reaching vertical of anterior margin of eye; 12-13.5 branched dorsal rays; 10.5 branched anal rays; 34-37 + 2-3 lateral line scales (Ref. 43281).
