Remarks Individuals over 10 cm SL fed primarily on mysids and to a lesser extent on shrimp (Crangon antarcticus) and fish. Amphipods were the main food of fishes from the Weddell Sea, although isopods, mysids and polychaetes were important food items (Ref. 5181).
