Remarks A benthic species abundant in shallow (5-12 m) reefs with low to medium relief and substratum covered by encrusting, sessile, filter-feeding ascidians, sponges, bryozoans and octocorals, also with abudnand coralline algae. It comprises 32% of cryptic ichthyofauna in such habitat. Carnivore, feeds on small crustaceans, mainly amphipods and isopods (Ref. 35802).
