意見 Nocturnal and benthic, preferring stagnant waters of swamps and lakes (Ref. 10294, 11243). Juveniles are carnivores surviving on invertebrates, insect larvae, insects and eggs and larvae of other fishes. The main food of adults consist of crustaceans, small fish and frogs (Ref. 11243).
