Remarks: | Infection commonly occurs in the gills. This parasite was found in common carp and silver carp. They were imported from Indonesia and Taiwan respectively for culture in the country. Also it was found in gold fish imported from Hongkong for the ornamental fish trade. Probably it is now established in natural waters. |
