This species of the Albula argentea complex is distinguished by the following set of characters: 63-67 (mode 65) pored lateral-line scales; 9-10 (9) scale rows above lateral line; 65-68 (67) vertebrae; tip of pelvic fin reaching beyond anterior edge of anus (Ref. 74924).
