Comments: Type locality: East of New Jersey, U.S.A., 39°35'00"N, 71°24'30"W, Albatross sta. 2206, 1043 fms. (Ref. 26282). The only other recorded occurrence of this in the Gulf of Mexico was a single individual taken at OREGON Station 2823 in July of 1960 (Ref. 29076).
