Locality
Distribution Western Indian Ocean: Reunion, Mauritius and probably occurs in Comoros.
Quote Euryhaline species which occurs in freshwaters in the lower parts of the rivers but can also be found in estuaries and in coastal ponds. Mostly encountered below 250 meters of altitude. Feeds on small invertebrates and small fishes. Not a migratory species and some populations complete their cycle in freshwater and brackish ones.
