Comment synonyms;
Locality Iran. MZUT N.720 (lectotype).
Distribution Asia: Iran (Lake Namak basin, the Zayandeh River drainage and the upper Karun River drainage).
Quote Known from two endorheic basins in Iran, the Zayandeh River drainage close to the city of Esfahan and the Qom and Ghareh-Chai Rivers, two tributaries of the hypersaline Lake Namak; aso known from the Shahrekord, a headwater stream flowing to the Karun, the lowermost tributary of the Tigris.
