Comments: Spawning-related migrations may take place in the Bass Strait area as evidenced by the presence of twice as many female as male pink ling in commercial catches, except in February when there are slightly more males than females (Ref. 6995, 6390). Fecundity may be moderately low (Ref. 6390). Pink ling may move into deeper water to spawn (Ref. 6390).
