Diagnosis

Diagnosis: The head and belly of this species is dark; margins of dorsal and anal fins black; pectoral and caudal fins light; dark spot on operculum. Dorsal fin originates slightly in front of the base of pectoral fin, above the 7th-10th pore of lateral line. Vertebrae 183-189; trunk vertebrae 128-132. Pores of lateral line to anus 57-62. Supraorbital canal 4, suborbital canal 7, preoperculomandibular canal 10, occipital commissure 0 (Ref. 54804).
