Remarks Males have bony hooks on the dorsal-, pectoral-, anal- and pelvic-fin rays; slightly differ in pectoral- and pelvic-fin lengths compared to females; anal-fin shape convex (vs. nearly straight in females); no gill glands in either males or females (Ref. 85819).
