Comments: | Introduced from Kipopo/Lubumbashi as T. andersonii (Zambesi race, probably O. macrochir) according to Ref. 55064, but the Luapula/Mweru race (probably O. mweruensis) was introduced according to Ref. 58. These species are present in various swamps of the rural areas where they were introduced quite a longtime ago. They are not used in the research field and lost importance in the large scale commerce. Ref: Welcomme, R.L., 1988 |
