Comments: | Fingerlings were imported in January 1997 and raised in the Dor Experimental Station in the coastal plain. These were later transferred to earthen ponds in farms located in the coastal plain, and the Beit Shean and Arava Valleys where they are raised to commercial size. This species does not reproduce naturally in the local environment, from which no specimens have been recorded (Ref. 37616). Ref: |
