Symptoms: Skin lesions with hemorrhages.  
Treatments: It is advised that fresh water bath for a few minutes will easily detect the parasite since they turn to be whitish in color in fresh water. Fresh water bath for 5 minutes or bathing in 150 ppm hydrogen peroxide for 30 minutes.  
Prophylaxis:    
Remarks: Capsalids are transparent in color on fish body surface so detection is difficult.
