Remarks: Infestation commonly occurs in the stomach. Besides 1982 (Hossain et al.), the infestation was also recorded in 1983 (Huq et al.) in Dhaka. Members of the genus Ascaris are parasites of mammals (Hartwich 1974), therefore this record may involve a misidentification.
