Abundance: common (usually seen) 
Comments: Occurs throughout the coast. Taken mostly from western Vancouver Island and Cape Scott Bank (Ref. 4925); also from Queen Charlotte Sound and off Moresby and Graham Islands (Ref. 93933). Common offshore (Ref. 2850). Utilized mostly as mink feed (Ref. 4925). Taken with hook and line by game fishers. Combined daily limit for all flounder and sole species caught is 8 (Ref. 11007).
