Comments: Occurs throughout the coast. Abundant in the southern part of the province; adults common offshore at depths below 73 m. Popular game fish in the Howe Sound area (Ref. 4925). Taken with hook and line and spears by game fishers. The combined daily limit for all sculpin and rockfish species caught ranges from 5 to 8 depending on the area (Ref. 11007).
