Abundance: fairly common (chances are about 50%) 
Comments: Strays are commonly observed during the summer (especially during El NiƱo years) along the coast and in the outside inlets. Recorded from Quathiaski Cove, Johnstone Strait and near Butedale, on the east coast of Princess Royal Island (Ref. 4925). Recorded from Puget Sound and Strait of Georgia (Ref. 94401) Also Ref 2850.
