Comments: Introduced in 1925. Although it has provided potential trophy-sized trouts and added a diversity in the anglers' catches it also competed with the native salmonids in Nova Scotia. Reported from Guysborough River (Ref. 5951). Established in many watersheds (Ref. 1995). Also Ref. 52559.
