Abundance: abundant (always seen in some numbers) 
Comments: Occurs throughout the Pacific coast; especially in Queen Charlotte Sound (Refs. 6885, 93933); occur off Moresby Is., off Graham Is. and in Dixon Entrance (Ref. 93933). Abundant offshore (Ref. 6885). Taken with hook and line and spears by game fishers. The combined daily limit for all sculpin and rockfish species caught ranges from 5 to 8 depending on the area (Ref. 11007). Also Ref. 4925, 6793, 51601, 95143. In range 2850.
