Comments: Occurrence in coastal waters is evident in the northern part of British Columbia. Found in rivers throughout the province ( except from the extreme northeastern part) including those on Vancouver and Queen Charlotte Islands (Ref. 1998, 10882). Game fishers have a daily catch quota of 2-6 (all trout/char included) depending on region, only one of which may be >50 cm. Size limit: minimum of 30 cm for individuals caught in anadromous streams.
