Glen Johnson of Fisheries and Oceans Canada reported a specimen from off Vancouver Island. A.E. Peden and G.S. Jamieson (MS, 1986) reported a British Columbia specimen. Ref. 4925 tentatively placed the Dasyatis sp. record of Dr. H.C. Williamson (published in 1930) under D. dipterurus. Ref. 6885 shows that this record may be one of two species, D. dipterura or D. violacea. Also Ref. 96339. |
